What is StrataforAll?
StrataforAll is a platform supporting people with disabilities and their caregivers/assistants in locating, evaluating, and sharing information regarding the accessibility of public and private spaces. Through maps, filters, and reviews, you can see if a place has ramps, accessible entrance/WC, disabled parking spots, etc., and inform the community when something changes.
- Browse points of interest with clear accessibility status (e.g. fully, partially, not at all).
- Add comments/photos to help other users plan their movement safely.
- User–Support Person connection for assisting actions with immediate updates.
Accounts & Roles
During registration, you select a role:
User or Support Person (Caregiver). As a support person, you can later connect with the user's account via an invitation/pairing code. As a user, you optionally declare accessibility preferences/needs and an emergency contact (name, mobile, relation), so they appear where operationally necessary.
Before logging in: what do I need?
- Activated email: After registration, we send you a confirmation message. Click the link to verify your email.
- Username & Password: Set a strong password (with uppercase/lowercase/numbers/symbols). Keep your credentials safe.
- Profile Details: You can complete/update your address, city, zip code, and profile photo for easier identification.
How to log in (step-by-step)
- Enter your username exactly as you defined it (Latin characters & numbers only).
- Type your password. If you see an error, check if Caps Lock is on or if the keyboard layout has changed (EN/EL).
- Click "Login". If the email has not been verified, we will ask you to do so first.
On first login, you may be asked to confirm your details and accept the terms of use & privacy policy. This happens once.
Forgot your password?
Select "Forgot Password?" on the login page. You will receive an email with a secure link to set a new password. If you don't see the message, check your Spam/Junk or Promotions folders. You can request a resend at any time.
Common issues & solutions
- "Invalid login details": Check the username for any spaces before/after, disable Caps Lock, make sure the keyboard is in EN.
- "Email not verified": Open the confirmation message and click the button. If the link doesn't respond, copy it to a new window.
- Message did not arrive: Check Spam/Promotions, ensure the email is correct, and request a resend.
- I can't connect even though I'm sure: Try resetting your password. If it continues, email us at info@strataforall.com.
Accessibility Tips
- All form elements support keyboard navigation (Tab/Shift+Tab, Enter, Space).
- The "eye" icon for the password comes with an appropriate alternative label for screen readers.
- You can increase the browser's zoom scale without breaking the layout.
- Error messages appear in text (not just color) to be clear.
After logging in – what do I gain?
- View maps with accessibility markers (entrance, parking, WC, etc.).
- Reviews/Photos from the community for an accurate view on the ground.
- Support Person Role: connection with a user and support in daily movement.
Smart Navigation Adapted to Your Needs
StrataforAll offers a navigation system that adapts routes based on the accessibility profile you have declared. It combines map data and community reports to suggest safe and practical routes to your destination.
- Users using a wheelchair or with mobility difficulties: avoidance of steps, preference for ramps and elevators, warnings for slopes/difficult surfaces where data is available.
- Users with blindness or low vision: turn-by-turn voice guidance, clear reference points (crossings, traffic lights), compatibility with screen readers.
- Users with deafness or hard of hearing: visual instructions and real-time updates in text format, with vibration capability on supported devices.
- Users with sensory sensitivity: route suggestions with reduced noise/crowding when relevant data exists.
You can change accessibility preferences from your profile at any time. The more the community contributes with updates, the more accurate and useful navigation becomes for everyone.
Security & Privacy
We use encryption (HTTPS) and store passwords with secure hashing. The emergency contact is visible only to you and where operationally required (e.g., in an SOS reminder/call activated by you). You can update or remove details at any time from your profile.

Open the verification email you received after registration, click the confirmation button, and follow the steps on the screen to create your first password.
Click "Forgot Password?" on the login page and follow the link you will receive via email to set a new password.
The user shares an invitation/pairing code from their profile. The support person enters it in their own flow, and the accounts are securely connected. The connection can be terminated at any time.
The indicators are based on a combination of official data and community reports. Fully means basic access conditions are met (e.g., ramp/entrance), Partially means there are possibilities but with some obstacles (steps, narrow doors, limited WC access), while Not at all means there is no practical access. You can always add newer information.

These Terms govern the use of the StrataForAll platform via web dashboard and mobile application (hereinafter the "Service"). By registering/using the Service, the user accepts these Terms.
1. Service Provider

2. Service Provided & BETA Status
The Service is currently provided free of charge as part of a trial operation (BETA). The Provider may modify, upgrade, or restrict features with the aim of improving performance and security.
3. Registration – Accuracy of Data
The user is obliged to provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Creating an account with false or misleading information is prohibited.
4. Minors
Use is also permitted by minors. For users under the age of 15, parental/guardian consent is required. The Provider may request documentation where deemed necessary.
5. User Obligations – Acceptable Use
- No violation of laws, third-party rights, and security rules.
- No attempt at unauthorized access, interference, or vulnerability testing without permission.
- No posting/uploading of illegal, harmful, or offensive content.
6. Special Categories of Data (Disability)
If the user registers disability/health data, they declare that they do so after being informed and with explicit consent, in accordance with the Privacy Policy. The user may withdraw their consent, which may impact functionality.
7. Emergency Contact (Third Party)
The user declares that they have informed the emergency contact and have a legal basis for providing their details.
8. Intellectual Property
The software, design, structure, trademarks, and every element of the Service constitute the intellectual property of the Provider, unless otherwise stated. Copying, reproduction, distribution, or modification without permission is prohibited.
9. Availability – Disclaimer of Liability
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." The Provider makes reasonable efforts to ensure availability and security, without guaranteeing uninterrupted operation. The Provider is not liable for indirect/consequential damages or loss of data, to the extent permitted by law.
10. Account Suspension / Termination
The Provider may suspend or terminate access/account in case of a breach of the Terms or for security reasons. The user may request account deletion. Deletion is implemented in accordance with the Privacy Policy, and data required for compliance with legal obligations may be exempted.
11. Amendment of Terms
The Terms may be modified. The updated version is posted on the Service and is effective from its publication, unless otherwise specified.
12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
Greek law applies. The courts of Greece shall have jurisdiction.

This Privacy Policy describes how the StrataForAll platform (hereinafter the "Platform") collects, uses, and protects users' personal data, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Law 4624/2019, and relevant legislation.

2. Scope of Application
This Policy applies to the access and use of StrataForAll via the web dashboard. For the use of the mobile application, a separate policy applies (see corresponding section/page).

- Password (stored securely, not in plain text)
3.2 Address/Residence Data

- Image file uploaded by the user (e.g., jpg/png/webp)
3.4 Role & Accessibility Data – Special Categories
Depending on the use of the Platform, data concerning health status/disability may be collected (e.g., "Person with Disability (PwD)" and type of disability). This data constitutes special categories of data under Article 9 of the GDPR.

3.5 Emergency Contact (Third Party)
An emergency contact (third-party details) may be registered. The user declares that they have informed this person and have a legal basis for providing their details.

5. Explicit Consent for Disability Data (Article 9 GDPR)
The registration and processing of data concerning disability/health occur only if the user provides explicit consent via a separate selection (checkbox) during registration and/or before entry. Consent may be withdrawn at any time through account settings or by email at info@strataforall.com. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.
In case of withdrawal, the Platform may be unable to provide features that rely on this data.
6. Minors
Use of the Platform is also permitted for minors. For users under 15 years of age, account creation requires the consent of a parent/guardian, in accordance with Greek legislation. The Data Controller may request additional verification details where necessary.
7. Recipients / Data Processors
Data may be shared only with strictly necessary third-party service providers (data processors) for hosting, operation, and communication purposes of the Platform.
- Hosting/Infrastructure: hosting provider (e.g., Hostinger or another provider within/outside the EU, depending on final infrastructure)
- Email Services (system/transactional messages): email provider (e.g., Google/Gmail)
- Map Services: Google Maps API (Google LLC) and/or OpenStreetMap
8. Transfers Outside the EEA
If, due to providers (e.g., Google services), a transfer of data occurs outside the European Economic Area, the Platform takes measures in accordance with Chapter V of the GDPR (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses where required).
9. Use of Cookies / Storage Technologies
- Strictly necessary cookies/session storage for authentication, security, and functionality.
- No advertising or profiling cookies are used.
The user can set their browser to reject cookies, which may impact the functionality of the Platform.
10. Security Measures
Appropriate technical and organizational security measures are implemented in accordance with modern practices, including access controls, rights restriction, data transfer protection, and backup procedures.
11. Retention Period
- Account data: until account deletion or until retention is no longer necessary for the purpose of processing.
- Special categories (disability): until withdrawal of consent or account deletion, unless longer retention is required by a legal obligation.
- Backups: up to 7 days.
- Security logs: up to 12 months.
12. Data Subject Rights
The user has the rights provided in Articles 15-22 of the GDPR, including:
- Access
- Rectification
- Erasure (Right to be forgotten)
- Restriction of processing
- Objection
- Data portability
- Withdrawal of consent (where applicable)
Requests are exercised at info@strataforall.com. A response will be provided within one (1) month, with a possibility of extension in accordance with the GDPR.

The user may file a complaint with the Hellenic Data Protection Authority: www.dpa.gr.
14. Amendments
This Policy may be modified. The updated version is posted on the Platform and, where required, users are informed in an appropriate manner.
